Who benefits from art therapy?
Art therapy can benefit people of all ages and abilities and can support work toward a wide range of treatment goals. You do not need to have experience or skill with art to enjoy and utilize art therapy.
How long does treatment last?
Treatment can be short term or long term depending on your preferences and the issues being addressed. If during our work together you find yourself looking for another therapeutic modality I can assist you to look for resources and/ or referrals.
Are art supplies provided?
All art materials are provided.
Do you take insurance?
I provide a monthly invoice that you can submit to your insurance provider to receive reimbursement, depending on your insurance coverage. Art therapy will be an “out of network” service falling under "mental health" or "behavioral health" benefits. Feel free to contact me if you have questions regarding insurance coverage and/ or sliding scale fees.
What is the fee for each session?
Individual sessions are 50 minutes long. Payment is due at the time of session. I offer sliding scale fees for students and others with limited income. Please contact me for more information.
What is your cancellation policy?
24 hour notice is required for cancellation of a session without charge.
